From Galbis hotel you can carry out many excursions, including the visit of the town’s monuments. Today we recommend you to visit the two thousand years old olive tree, located at the intersection of Avenida Antonio Almela and Tabernes to Chiva road.
The olive tree was planted on San Andreu’s day, l’Alcudia’s patron, in 1993. Next to the monument of the farmer they are the two benchmarks that indicate the beginning and the end of this famous avenue.
When the olive tree was planted, it weighed 12,000 kilos and it has not always been on the same place, previously located at a Roman road called Wine anda Oil Road.
